A peaceful Eden
A long time ago there was a quiet island surrounded by a turquoise sea. The various landscapes were captivating with mountains covered in pines, holm oaks and a wide range of vegetation as well as fertile fields. The islanders enjoyed a calm life seeing time go by; however they had to struggle in their daily lives, they lived in harmony with nature and proudly kept the ancient traditions and culture.
Gradually foreigners began to arrive on the island and fell in love with it. They admired the sun, nature, beaches and tranquility. At first, locals looked at them with suspicion, but when they realised the profits to be obtained, most of them left the fields and usual trades to turn into waiters, shopkeepers, hosts, estate agents....
The place became famous and visitors came massively or even settled there. As a result, the streets became crowded, and culture was considered a picturesque part of the environment. Then, the islanders understood that PEACE was over.
